Abstract: | Development of an antenna serves as a major role in the newlineadvancement of wireless communication systems. There are two major newlineobjectives of this research work. First objective is to design split ring newlineresonator inspired metamaterial antennas for operating in THz frequency. For newlinevalidation of the proposed breast cancer detection method simulation was newlinecarried out. The next objective is to design cross dipole antenna for 4G and newlinesub-6 GHz 5G base station applications. For validation of the proposed design newlinesimulation followed by measurement was carried out. The research newlinemethodology followed in this work consists of literature review, problem newlineidentification, requirements analysis, followed by simulation and newlinemeasurement. Simulation has become indispensable in every stage of the newlineantenna design and integration workflow therefore, in this entire research newlinework CST simulation software is used for designing and optimizing the newlineantenna for various applications. THz spectrum ranges from 300 GHz to 30 newlineTHz is explored for meeting the future requirements in mobile newlinecommunication, space communications, imaging, and much more evolving newlineapplications which requires high data rate. Therefore, design of THz antennas newlineis also getting important in terms of research and development sector. Breast newlinecancer is a deadly disease which is becoming widely common become these newlinedays which needs to be detected in its early stages of the tumor development newlinefor better treatment to reduce the mortality rate. This research work proposed newlinea novel method of detecting the presence of tumor inside the breast model newlineusing the circular split ring resonator (CSRR) inspired metamaterial THz newlineantenna. The proposed method of detection is validated by the simulation newlineprocess. newline |
