Basically a Hijra is considered neither a man nor a woman. They born as newlinea male, but their feminine attitudes make them different. They are also newlineknown as Transgender. It is an umbrella term including so many other newlinesexual minorities like Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and newlineTranssexual and known as LGBT community. The newlineHijras are the few transgender who sustain their livelihood depending on newlineHijra profession. newlineThere is a considerable amount of overlapping ideas about LGBT newlinecommunity. Transgender people transgress the gender roles. Their newlineunusual gender roles leave them in a state of identity crises and become newlineone of the causes of their marginality.
