Abstract: | The conventional mathematical facilities to model an event or situation are definitive newlineand dichotomous in nature. That causes trouble for many researchers to newlinedetermine a physical phenomenon in its all sense. Since the quality and quantity newlineare two sides of the same coin, the conventional method is not always sufficient to newlinedescribe real-life incidences. The innovation of fuzzy set(FS)s and its extensions newlinelike intuitionistic fuzzy set(IFS)s, Pythagorean fuzzy set(PFS)s have helped the newlinehassle-free handling to the circumstances as mentioned above. For acquiring the newlineparametrization feature, the soft set(SS)s are furnished, and the blending of SS newlinewith other generalized structures is very effective for representing vagueness or newlineuncertainty. The Pythagorean fuzzy soft set (PyFSS) is a blending of SS and PFS. newlineA PyFSS possesses the efficiency of parametrization and the ability to describe newlinesatisfaction degree and dissatisfaction degree with the requirement that the square newlinesum of satisfaction degree and dissatisfaction degree should be between 0 and 1. newlineAlong with bringing out the generalized set structures, it is significant to study newlinethe information measures such as entropy, similarity measure, distance measure, newlineand divergence measure. Information measures quantify certain qualities; for newlineexample, entropy quantifies the fuzziness of a set. Comparison between sets is newlinepossible by measuring information of a set and which is essential in the decisionmaking newlineprocesses. This work prioritizes a study of information measures on PyFSS. newlineAxiomatic definition of entropy, similarity, distance, and divergence measures has newlinebeen proposed, and certain expressions that carry out the axiomatic definitions newlineare determined.
