Present research was to evaluate the therapeutic claims made for these plants in traditional newlinemedicines and to conduct systematic chemical investigation of plants. Screening of various newlineextracts and performs antiurolithiatic activity. In the present study, successive extracts of T. newlineindica (seeds), C. dichotoma (fruits) and C. dactylon (roots) were prepared and evaluated for newlinepharmacognostic and pharmacological activities. The preliminary phytochemical investigation of newlineT. indica (seeds), C. dichotoma (fruits) and C. dactylon (roots) extracts showed presence of newlineglycosides, saponins and triterpenoids. Three extracts MeE of T. indica (seeds), MeE of C. newlinedichotoma (fruits) and MeE of C. dactylon (roots) possessing optimum bioactivity were newlinesubjected to fractionation using non-polar to polar solvents and all fractions were further newlinesubjected to TLC/HPTLC fingerprinting. The pharmacological screening including diuretic newlineactivity and evaluation of antiurolithiatic activity was carried out. The findings from present newlinestudy support the folklore use of T. indica (seeds), C. dichotoma (fruits) and C. dactylon (roots) newlinefor their diuretic actions. newline
