dc.description.abstract | The increasing usage of Power Electronics (PE) Components in both industrial and residential applications are rising day by day. These PE systems cause PQ issues by generating harmonics in current as well as in the voltage. Non-linear loads like electric arc furnaces, transformers, welding equipment, battery chargers, etc., are considered as the root cause for the generation of harmonics. The harmonics that occur because of these non-linear loads deliver undesirable effects like minimization of efficiency and power factor affecting the overall performance of the system.
