Concrete under tensile force will fail due to its brittle nature and addition of randomly oriented steel fibers in concrete enhances the tensile behaviour by resisting development of micro cracks and attainment of sudden failure. The present study focuses on various types and aspect ratios of steel fiber and their structural application in reinforced concrete beams. Various methods to enhance the bond behaviour are investigated globally and the results proved that interaction between fiber depends on fiber topography and chemical interaction also. The test on bond mechanism of fiber in case of high strength concrete and time dependent loading indicates that fiber requires additional tensile force to achieve maximum pull-out load. newlineCurrently, the need of recycling the waste tire rubber, a by-product for utilizing as construction material is becoming more important than never before. The addition of crumb rubber in concrete requires Thermo- Mechanical Devulcanization to enhance tensile strength and elongation properties newline
