Abstract: newlineWith the advancement of technology, the desire for alloys with unrivalled qualities has newlineskyrocketed. In this emerging automation era, there is a massive demand for prĂ©cised newlineand high surface finished components for extreme applications like aviation industries newlineand oil refineries, but conventional finishing technologies are unable to keep up with newlinethe current demands. As a result, researchers are eagerly exploring advanced finishing newlineprocedures that can assist in meeting industry expectations. newlineInconel-718 is often regarded as one of the most difficult materials to process newlinedue to its supreme properties. Comprising nickel as a base material it possesses some newlinesuperior properties that make it suitable for extreme environmental conditions. newlineMoreover, drastic expansion in aerospace and oil refining industries prompted an newlineincrement in more remarkable and more productive turbines, requiring higher newlinetemperature operations. Inconel 718 is being widely used in turbines including the more newlinecritical rotating parts (shafts, sheets, blades, and discs) elsewhere in modern planes for newlineairfoils, supporting structures, and pressure vessels. Outside of the aerospace industry, newlineit is extensively used in oil and gas industries. A more uncommon application is in tanks, newlineholders, rings, and pressure vessels in rocket motors, which requires hot hardness newlinestrength, although at cryogenic temperatures of down to to 250 newline newline
