Energy is very important to run the world. The most usable form of energy is electrical newlineenergy that is produced by thermal power plants in India. According to the Energy newlineinformation administration, most of the energy is produced by burning of fossil fuels. newlineThis is negatively affecting the planet due to the pollution and increases the CO2 that newlineleads the greenhouse effect. Due to these drawbacks, world is changing towards the newlinerenewable sources. They do not pollute environment but has limitation. With the newlineexample of solar source that is sun, it is not available all the time. The energy has to be newlinestored in a specific device. There are various types of devices used to store energies like newlinelead acid batteries, Li-ion batteries and capacitors. Lead acid batteries suffer from low newlineenergy density, high self-discharge, limited charge discharge cycle, and short life. Also, newlinethey contain poisonous lead and harmful acids. Lithium-ion batteries are used in newlineportable electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. Batteries can newlinestore large amounts of energy, but they also suffer from several shortcomings including newlineself-discharge, short life-time, weight, and temperature sensitivity. A supercapacitor newlinealso known as an electrochemical capacitor is an electrical energy storage device that newlineis assembled much like a battery. newline newline
