Abstract: The objective of this study is to identify groundwater potential newlinezone, influence of rainwater recharge in groundwater, assess groundwater newlinequality, role of hydrogeochemical processes and to simulate groundwater flow newlinemodel. The study area is located in the western part of the hard rock terrain, newlinePerambalur district, Tamil Nadu, southern India. The groundwater samples newlinewere collected every three months at once from September 2015 to September newline2019 from 44 representative wells. Groundwater level, pH, EC, salinity, ORP, newlinecarbonate and bicarbonate were measured in the field while the major, minor newlineion and trace elements were measured the laboratory. Various thematic maps newlinefor the study area were prepared using ArcGIS 10.1. FEFLOW was used to newlinedevelop groundwater flow model. newline
