Abstract: Growing concern about the energy and the environmental problems over the past decades has led to the undertaking of a study to dynamically concentrate on an alternative energy storage technology other than conventional fuel cells batteries etc Super capacitors have attained great attraction as a clean energy storage device owing to their high energy density high power density improved cycle life and high coulombic efficiency Similarly the present crisis in flexible energy storage to meet the requirements of portable and wearable electronics can be resolved by developing flexible-solid electrolyte materials for supe rcapacitors with enhanced performance This will help to not only solve energy issues but alsoto address the future flexible energy storage demands/devices The ultimate purpose of this study is to develop economic environmental friendly and less complex polymer nano composite membranes as solid electrolyte cum separator for flexible super capacitors This thesis presents the design fabrication and performance-testing of flexible all solidstate super capacitorsIn this research sandwich-structured all solid state super capacitors are fabricated with two novel nano composite solid polymer electrolyt emembranes as electrolyte cum separator and MWCNT as electrodes Simple experimental design was utilized to optimize the operation parameters of thesuper capacitor in order to improve its capacity for energy storage newline
