Abstract: | The natural fiber composite material paves way for the solution of ecosystem concerns in the larger interest. The awareness about the environment among the end-users has given immense growth to natural fiber composite materials. A variety of applications has come into existence using natural fibers such as packing, automobiles, construction, and furniture. When compared to manmade fibers, natural fibers have more advantages due to their low cost, and the high-quality surface finish of composite moulded parts, less weight low damage to processing equipment, the increase in mechanical characteristics, abundant and renewable sources, and also the processing of natural fiber easy. But the poor interfacial bonding with fiber and polymer matrix, lack of resistance to wetness low, melting point, and weak tensile strength in the transverse direction are the vital disadvantage of this form of polymer matrix composite materials. In the transverse direction, the weak mechanical property is found which tends to extremely anisotropy characteristics of the polymer matrix composites. To avoid this textile-based fiber reinforced plastics are replacement will enhance the scope for the textile plain woven fabric reinforced polymer composite. The textile composite provides superior stability in vertical (warp) and horizontal (weft) direction and hence possesses a more balanced characteristic in the woven fabric plane as compared to unidirectional composites during the process of interlacing (woven) weaving. newlineThe plain woven cotton and the bamboo fabric were manufactured with the help of a power loom using cotton and bamboo yarn of 30 tex on both warp and weft direction newline newline newline |
