The workplace has two kinds of culture one is cognitive culture and the second one is emotional culture. During a ten to fifteen minutes presentation at work, employees might feel anxious, gratified, relieved, and cheerful, etc. The burden for performance in the businesses has surely resulted in emotional instabilities which affecting the quality of working life of the employees. Quality of working life comprises individual attitude toward his occupation and work. It signifies that how much responsiveness, support, appreciation, motivating job, and opportunities were arranged by managers for workforces. Emotional work-life influences employee satisfaction, burnout, interpersonal relationship and teamwork, and so on. Positive emotions are consistently associated with better performance and quality this holds true across roles and industries and at various organizational levels where on the other side it creates negative impact as well. Faculties are the key pillar in the educational center. Faculties in schools, colleges, and universities are providing education services but very few efforts have been made on a national and international level to identify the opinion of the faculties regarding QWL where EI has been an evolving theme for educational, psychological, and management researchers and consultants in current years. Multitasking and blurred boundary of on duty, huge syllabus, large class size, and lack of modern infrastructure make faculty work highly difficult. To deal with this effectively, the faculty should have great emotional stability and steady commitment towards the job and to the institute. newlineThe current research has examined the factors which affecting Quality of Work-life and Emotional Quotient among faculties and identify the relationship between Quality of Work-life and Emotional Quotient among BBA and BCOM faculties affiliated to VNSGU in addition to this study the relationship between QWL and demographic profile, Emotional quotient and demographic profile among faculties in South Gujarat.
