Abstract: newline The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Plyometric training programme with Yogic practices on selected motor fitness variables of adolescent volleyball players.It is acknowledged fact that physical variables play a decisive role in the performance of volleyball game. Volleyball game has gained tremendous popularity all over the world and especially in India. newline45 adolescent volleyball male players and all of them were purposively selected as subjects for the study. The age level of subjects ranged from 14 to 20 years. All the subjects residing at own home and during training were imparted within the Khel Avam Yuva Kalyan Vibhag, Academy, Narshinghpur. For this study the following motor fitness and coordinative ability variables was chosen: speed, agility, flexibility, explosive strength and muscular endurance. newlineThis study consisted of three experimental groups, Group I underwent Plyometric training, Group II underwent Plyometric training combined with Yogic practice and Group III acted as control group. All the participants were tested prior to and after the experimentation on motor fitness components. During the training period, the experimental group I underwent Plyometric training and group II underwent Plyometric training with Yogic practices. The Plyometric training packages designed by the investigator was administered for a period of eight weeks, four days a week, one session a day, each session lasting for 60 minutes. The Yogic practice was meted out for 30 minutes to groupand#8208;II either before or after the Plyometric training. Group III acted as control group who were not participated any special training apart from the regular curricular activities. The training programme carried out in Madhya Pradesh Khel Avam Yuva Kalyan Vibhag, Academy, Narshinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh.
