newlineHimachal Pradesh is a delightful state for visitors particularly during the hot season when people flock to its hill stations to escape the scorching heat of the planes. Most of the tourists visit Himachal Pradesh for its natural and scenic beauty. The State has a number of old palaces, historical places, havelis and other beautiful buildings in rural areas which if properly developed could become important tourist destinations themselves. Rural Tourism villages are identified and notified by the Department. The precondition for declaring these as RT villages would be that they must predominantly have traditional architecture. . It will not only generate employment for the people but it can also develop social, cultural and educational values. It is a type of nature based tourism that unravels the essence of rural life, culture, art and heritage at natural surroundings, thereby creating an incredible effect on the development of the local economy and socio-cultural scenario of the area. newlineRESEARCH METHODOLOGY
