Abstract: The present thesis was focused on the fabrication and characterization of perovskite thin films of BaTiO3 SrTiO3 Ba1 xSrxTiO3 0 226 8240 164 x 226 8240 164 1 via pulsed laser deposition PLD technique The optimized substrate temperature and background oxygen pressure were found to be 700 194 176 C and 0 1 mbar respectively The morphology structural linear and nonlinear optical properties of all thin films were studied by AFM and FESEM XRD Raman UV Visible NIR spectroscopy and modified Z scan technique T newline newline
