Abstract

Three phase squirrel cage induction motors are used in majority of newlinethe industries During operational condition of such motors due to poor newlinepower quality there may be occurrence of electrical faults frequently Finally newlineit leads to affect the performance and reliability of the motors Considering newlinethe above this thesis envisaged to develop a prototype model of embedded newlinemotor protection scheme by analyzing the frequently occurring fault newlineconditions and give better solution to solve the above problems newlineNoninvasive technique of voltage and current measurements are newlinesimple economical and efficient one There is no need of special sensors for newlinefault analysis Only conventional current transformers and potential newlinetransformers were used for measurements in this scheme newline newline
