dc.description.abstractnewlineElectronic National Agriculture Market (eNAM) was introduced in India in 2016 to build a newlineunified market where farmers get actual benefits of their agri produces. The present study newlinewas focused in comparative study in pre and post eNAM system by studying socio-economic newlineprofile of farmers of Mugalsarai mandi and Chandauli mandi on tomato. eNAM s and newlineMandi samiti users, price variation and price trends, the impact of eNAM on the income of newlinefarmers and the constraints in eNAM systems. The studied parameters for socio-economic newlineprofiling was age, education, occupation, monthly income, land holding, size of family and newlinefarming experience, beside all of them occupation of respondent were found non-significant. newlinePrice trends of tomato were found uptrend in both pre and post eNAM system but a downfall newlinein percentage of price difference was observed after eNAM. The study showed an increase newlinein variance of tomato farmer s income. After introduction of eNAM system the study on newlineconstraints, suggested to conduct awareness and training programs related to eNAM as well newlineas a good setup of an eNAM system along with a fast internet facilities. newlineKeywords: eNAM, Mandi Samiti, APMCs, Tomato, Mugalsarai mandi and Chandauli newlinemandi.
