Abstract: | Nowadays, the popularity of wireless multicast communication is phenomenally newlineincreasing day by day because of its ability to cater all kind of possible communication newlineand in every mode of communication in an innovative, cost-effective, and user-friendly newlineway. No doubt that astonishing development took place in the field of MANET also in the newlinepast years/for a long time but still there are a lot many chances of improvisation in respect newlineof security, overheads reductions and efficient routing mechanisms. As it is said that newline Necessity is mother of inventions , in this era when the world is affected by newlinecommunicable disease and peoples are feeling fear to visit offices, colleges, health newlinecenters or at any place because of communicable disease. So Most of the work of any newlinesector is now confined to the online applications and online communication. Hence the newlineneed of group communication and multicast communication has increased up to a very newlinehigh level. A cluster of independent mobile nodes gathered together with the help of newlinemulti-hop wireless communication build up the ad-hoc grid. In the present-days, the newlinepopularity of ad-hoc grid is growing because it is applied in disaster relief, Warfield, etc. newlineEach and every individual nodes in the ad-hoc grid act as a router. The mobile ad-hoc newlinenetwork (MANET) contains mobile nodes which are not organized in any framework. newlineWith the use of radio waves the mobile nodes build their own grid when it needs to newlinetransfer any information. The MANET objective is to increase the range of mobile, newlineindependent and wireless systems to build an ad-hoc grid by utilizing the nodes in the newlinegrid. The procedure followed by multicasting is only a single host transfers the data but newlinethe data can be accessible by all the users present in the grid. Multicasting can be applied newlinein audio/ video conferencing, company communications, collaborative and groupware newlinepackages, distance learning, and so forth. |
