Abstract: This research work explores the efficacy of applying new-age artificial intelligence newlinetechniques in some of the critical areas which marketers face constantly viz. newlineforecasting, segmentation and customer loyalty. newlineFor long these tasks have been traditionally tackled through application of conventional newlinestatistical techniques like time series modelling with Autoregressive Moving Average newline(ARMA) and Linear/Logistic Regression. newlineThis research attempts to apply machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques newlinelike Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) and its variants and Self-Organising Maps newline(SOMs) and Support Vector Machines (SVMs) to achieve desired results. newlineSome artificial intelligence techniques and models have been tested for speed and newlineaccuracy for three areas of marketing analytics viz. segmentation, forecasting and newlinecustomer loyalty. newlineThe premise here is that by virtue of applying this new-age artificial intelligence newlinetechniques we would be able to achieve better results and that too in quicker time.
