Schiff bases named after the German chemist Hugo Schiff. In co-ordination newlinechemistry Schiff bases and their metal complexes having great role. Transition metals newlineare used for pharmacological and therapeutic applications. newlineFirst chapter deals with the general introduction of Schiff bases and newlinetransition metal complexes having its importance through biological activity. Second (A) newlinechapter describes the synthesis of 4 Chloro N [(E)-pyridin-2-yl- methylidene] aniline. newlineSecond (B) chapter deals with the synthesis of metal complexes by using metal salt of Co newline(II), Ni (II), Cu (II) and Zn (II). Third chapter describes physico-chemical properties and newlinecharacterization of synthesized compounds. In which IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR and TGA newlinediscussed. Fourth chapter describes biological activity of Schiff bases. In which anticancer, newlineanti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activities of Schiff bases explained broadly newlinewith its importance. Fifth chapter mentions biological activity of transition metal newlinecomplexes against a variety of test organisms like E. coli, S aureus, C. albicans. Sixth newlinechapter deals with summary of all synthesized compounds. Seventh chapter describes newlineconclusions of all synthesized bioactive compounds. newline1. Review of Literature and Development in the subject (Previous work done in newlinethe related area) newlineIn this section we explained some reported synthetic approaches were newlinedeveloped for its synthesis in the literature. newlineThe synthesis of H2L1, H4L2 and ligand L3 Synthesized through a condensation newlinereaction between 2,2 -disulfanediyldianiline and thiophene 2 carboxyaldehyde in newlineethanol. newlineAbstract newlineScheme 1 : Structure of Ligands newlineH2L1 H4L2 newlineApproach for synthesis, characterization and in vitro anti-cancer activity of newlineCopper and Zinc Bis (theoremcarbazone) complexes. newlineIt includes IC50 values (half maximal inhibitory concentration) newlineThe characterization and biological evaluation of transition metal complexes newlinederived from N1S bidentate ligands. newlineS2MBDTC (S-methyl benzyl di thiocarbazate) newline2. Proposed Hypothesis : newlineTo synthesize the Schiff bases and tran
