Abstract: Introduction: Natural products especially from medicinal plants play a vital role in newlinethe development of new potent therapeutic agents. Bioactive compounds from newlinemedicinal plants provide the outstanding contribution to the new modern drug newlinediscovery. Pharmacological potential of any bioactive compounds are explored by newlinepreclinical research such as in-silico, in-vitro and in-vivo analysis. India is one among newlinethe 12 mega bio-diversity centers which has 45,000 plant species. In the present newlineresearch work the selected plants Melia dubia and Combretum ovalifolium were newlinetraditionally used in the Indian medicinal system for treatment of various diseases. It newlineis understood from the literature survey that both the plants possessed newlinepharmacological activities but the active ingredients which are responsible for its newlinemedicinal potential is not examined so far. newlineObjective: Purpose of the research work is to isolate the bioactive principles present newlinein the medicinal plants Melia dubia and Combretum ovalifolium and study their newlinepharmacological applications towards anti-breast cancer, anti-arthritis and antiurlolithiatic newlineactivities using in-silico and in-vitro methods. newlineMethods: Bioactive compounds are varying from plants to plants even it varies in newlinedifferent parts of the same plant. Soxhlet extraction method is adapted for extraction newlineof phytochemicals from the leaf, bark of Melia dubia and leaf, stem of Combretum newlineovalifolium. Preliminary phytochemical analysis of leaf, bark of Melia dubia and leaf, stem of Combretum ovalifolium were examined by standard procedures. newline
