dc.description.abstractThis study aims to see the effect of Metacognitive Instructional Programme on the numeracy skills of primary school students. A sample of 70 students from CBSE affiliated English medium private schools of district Yamuna Nagar was taken for the study. The sample was divided into two equivalent groups. The experimental group was treated through Metacognitive Instructional Programme (MIP). Major findings revealed that there exists a positive and significant effect of Metacognitive Instructional Programme (MIP) on the numeracy skills of primary school students. This study would be useful for dyscalculic children their parents, teachers, policymakers and administrators and suggest the need to come up with policies to help students with learning disabilities. newline
