Synthesis characterization and structural aspects of supramolecular entities of cobalt III based on anion recognition by non covalent interactions

Abstract

My Ph.D. research work primarily focuses on the design and synthesis of cobalt(III) based anion receptor which has the potential to bind significant organic and inorganic anionic species. The resulting complexes formed were characterized by various spectroscopic techniques, mass spectrometry and single crystal X-ray crystallography. Further, these complexes were subjected to antibacterial and anti-cancerous studies. Findings revealed that some of these complexes have remarkable anticancer and antibacterial activity. newline
