Abstract: The technique of pores formation in the cell/tissue membrane by applied newlineelectric field across the membrane is known as electroporation. newlineElectroporation has many applications such as the transport of drugs, newlinegenetic material, and other molecules into the cell. Electroporation is newlinedivided into two categories: Reversible electroporation and irreversible newlineelectroporation. As the name suggests, reversible electroporation results in newlinethe temporary pores while the irreversible electroporation results in the newlinepermanent pores in the cells/tissues. The detailed introduction of the newlineelectroporation is presented in chapter 1. newline
