Abstract: Heterocyclic compounds are organic compounds with a ring structure newlinethat contains in the cycle at least one carbon atom and at least one other newlineelement, such as N, O, or S. The most common cycles contain five or six newlineatoms, with the stability off these rings being higher than that of three, four, newlineseven, or larger rings. However, many heterocyclic compounds with a different newlinenumber of atoms than five or six are known. Heterocyclic rings can be either newlinenonaromatic or aromatic. newlineMost nonaromatic heterocyclic compounds are similar in their chemical newlineproperties with alicyclic compounds. Examples include cyclic ethers, which are newlinesimilar to ethers, cyclic secondary amines similar to aliphatic secondary newlineamines, etc. Carbon is still by far the most common ring atom in heterocyclic newlinecompounds, but the number and variety of heteroatoms in the rings of known newlinecompounds, has increased as the years go by and thus there is a steady newlinetransition to include the expanding domain of inorganic heterocyclic systems. newlineSince rings can be of any size, from three-membered upwards, and since newlinethe heteroatoms can be drawn in almost any combination from a large number newlineof the elements (though nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur are still by far the most newlinecommon), the number of possible heterocyclic systems is almost limitless. An newlineenormous number of heterocyclic compounds is known and this number newlinecontinues to increase very rapidly. Pyrimidopyrimidine, Pyrimidothiazine, newlinePyrimidooxazine derivatives were synthesized to possess various newlinepharmacological activities. newlineAbstract newlineii newlinePRESENT WORK: newlineThis is entitled Efficient synthesis and Biological Activity Evalution of newlineSome Fused Pyrimidopyrimidine, Pyrimidothaizine and Pyrimidooxazine newlineDerivatives . This is divided into six chapters. newlineCHAPTER-I: newlineINTROCUCTION newlineThis chapter includes literature survey related to fused heterocyclic newlinecompounds containing one or more than one hetero atoms and their biological newlineimportance in medicinal fields. And also literature survey related to the newly newlinesynthesized Pyrimidopyrimidine, Pyrimidothaiz
