Abstract: The experiments were carried out to study effect of electricity on seed germination, growth parameters and yield parameters of Wheat, Carrot and Groundnut. The experimental study was divided into two parts, first part of experiment was carried out in pots and second part of experiment was carried out in field. newlineIn first part of the experiment twelve pots were taken for each crop. It was grouped into four sets each containing three pots. The DC (Direct Current) source was used for experiment three sets were supplied with different voltage (3V, 6V and 9V) of current. One set of each crop was used as control. newlineIn second part of the experiment field preparation and sowing was done following, standard protocol. Triplicate of plots (10 X 10 ) were used for the experiment. In pots as well as in field seeds were sown in between two electrodes, each electrode was connected to 3V, 6V and 9V electricity (direct current). For experimental field 3V, 6V and 9V electricity was supplied daily for 10 minutes. Numbers of seedling emerged out of soil were counted and percentage of germination was calculated in all three plants. newlineTo study effect of electricity on growth parameters like height of the plant, length of the root, diameter of root, length of spike was measured in centimeter with the help of tape. The number of leaves, number of pegs, number of root nodules per plant, number of seeds per plant, number of floret per plant, number of pod per plant was counted numerically the yield parameters like seed size was recorded by method described by Wankhede (2018), seed weight was measured using electric balance. newlineThe nutritional analysis of Wheat, Carrot and Groundnut was recorded by method described by AOAC 2016. newlineThe soil analysis of Wheat, Carrot and Groundnut cultivated soil was recorded by method described by FAO 2007,2008. newlineStudy of effect of electricity on germination of Wheat, Carrot and Groundnut has shown that pots receiving electricity has resulted early germination in the Wheat, Carrot and Groundnut.
