Abstract: | Purpose: This study examined the various social accounting report of the deemed university such as Dayalbagh Educational Institute and Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology andamp; Sciences university and also assess the impact of social benefits and social cost on the productivity of the university. newlineMethodology: This study used both type of data such as primary and secondary data. For Primary data this study sample size 1000 which equally divided in both deemed university (500 for each university). For the selection of the respondents researcher used the judgmental Sampling method and data collected through self-structure questionnaire by personal interview, e-mail etc. Under the data analysis used the various statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation, reliability, explorative factor analysis and for the tested hypothesis researcher used the correlation person s test. newlineFindings: On the basis data analysis this study identified that influencing factors of social Benefits includes into 10 factors such as Buildings and furniture (7 items), Library (6 items), Environment (6 items), Class Room facility (5 items), Salary (5 items), Medical facility (6 items) and Stationary (4 items), influencing factors of social cost includes into 6 factors such as Number of strike (5 items), Student s movement (4 items), Ratio (3 items), Ragging(3 items), Pollution (4 items)and Students fee (4 items) and influencing factors of productivity of university includes into five factors such as teaching level (6 items), Number of pass out (6 items), Course offers (5 items),Research Publication (6 items) and Job and Placement (4 items) and on the basis of mean values finds that performance of the Dayalbagh Educational Institute is better than Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology andamp; Sciences university. Researcher also finds that relationship between social benefits, social cost with the productivity of the university are positive and negative respectively. newline newline |
