Abstract: The study entitled Intellectual Contributions and Structure of Physics newlineResearch: a Bibliometric Study of Pramana Journal of Physics is based on the newlinebibliometric analysis of collected data of articles of Pramana in the field of Physics. The newlinecollection of articles of covered in Web of Science database for the period 2005 to 2015 as newlinesource of primary data. The research output of Pramana Journal of Physics of eleven newlineyears, quantitatively and qualitatively as reflected in Web of Science database. The study newlineevaluated the quality of the Journal Pramana its growth and impact in the field of newlineScience. The main objective of the study is evaluating the publications of the journal newlinepublished during 20005-2015, by using bibliometric tools and techniques. 2008 has been newlinethe most productive year (Publication wise). The journal received maximum citations in newlineolder Issues/Vol.s. The Journal mostly published original papers and research articles than newlineother type of documents. The high degree of collaboration is observed in physics research newlinepublications of Pramana in between 2005 to 2015. Most of the articles are contributed by newlineIndian authors. Indian origin, Institutes from India are on the top of the list of contributed newlineInstitutes. The number of articles written in collaboration with authors from countriesother than the host country of the journal has been increasing in the recent past. The newlinemaximum intellectual contributions are from BARC. Amongst authors Kumar, S., has newlinebeen most productive author contributed maximum 27 articles. There are average number newlineof references per article has been increased from 2005 to 2015 and number of references newlineper year is 5064 on an average. The authors of Pramana, have more focus on the physics newlinemacro domains. Patel, H. E. has been the most cited paper with 209 citations. newline
