Abstract: In organic synthesis making of heterocyclic compounds is one of the challenging endevour due to its wide applications in medicinal chemistry, industries, academics and also because of their huge biological activities by applying efficient, selective catalytic systems to form C-C and C-heteroatom (N, O, S) bonds at mild reaction conditions. Many methods are established so far to synthesize these various heterocyclic compounds especially N-heterocyclic compounds. Azirine the smallest N-heterocyclic compound gives their higher analogues of N-heterocyclic compounds through metal and non-metal catalysts. But all these reported methods are suffering from many drawbacks, so now a days researchers focused on developing the methods by using ecofriendly and less cost-effective catalysts at mild reaction conditions newline
