Abstract: | Effective HRM ensures greater organizational effectiveness. The present higher educational scenario requires effective application of HRM functions to govern the educational institutions. The present study attempted to find out the extent of HRM functions carried out by the college management. The present study exposes greater application of HRM functions in the University system, although the HRM functions differ on the basis of certain teacher and institutional related variables. Knowledge is the collection of information, education, research, experience and intelligence that is mainly harnessed in educational institutions. HRM in technical training organization is considerably diagnosed, it will become very important to properly manage them. HR team plays an important function. Human resource management can assist in growing scholar standard overall performance. This occurs because of the involvement and motivation of the academics. Effective teachers assist in better improvement of college students. Earlier than analyzing upon the Technical education (TE) in Indian context, it is good to have a quick knowledge of HE in preferred, as TE is considered one of its center components. Precisely, systems and procedures articulated within the context of liberalization, privatization and globalization (LPG), made the governments across the world to come up with various agenda to revamp higher education. Governance reforms like enhanced autonomy, process reengineering, Human Resource (HR) policy, accountability, transparency processes, academic reforms and such other frameworks influenced the higher education sector to develop a vision for an overall learning experience.
