Abstract: The major objective of this research is to provide such an environment in a public network where the information can be exchanged securely between the authorized entities. Hence, maintaining the secrecy of the key is only alternative and foremost necessity to resist the information from the various aspect of threats. In the various study of the cryptosystem, it is recommended that the length of the key should be larger enough so that it will be difficult to break by exhaustive search methods by an attacker. In this context, we have considered developing such methods to generate cryptographic keys that will be difficult to break and completely unpredictable to guess. To achieve this goal, one alternative was, generates the key long enough so that the adversary could not be able to attempt all possible combinations to break in linear polynomial time. Unfortunately, such choice of a mechanism may not sustain in today s life where the processing capability of a computing system has been increased tremendously in a distributed system. Therefore, this research aims to develop the mechanism to generate dynamic keys instead of a single one and large in size. To create such dynamic keys, that frequently changes from session to session or data block to data block, an idea was found in the literature that has been named Auto. Var. Key(AVK)proposed in 2006 by Bhunia. Based on this philosophy of AVK, many researchers brought several new methods and gave a new dimension of the cryptosystem which is demonstrated during the investigation of this research to achieve the defined objective. newlineIn this investigation, a couple of dynamic key generation schemes have been proposed.Among these schemes, some of the flexible keys have been generated based on some existing approaches available in literature namely, Computing and Shifting Auto. Var. Key (CSAVK), Alternating and Shifting Auto.Var.Key (ASAVK), Left Shifting Auto.Var.Key (LSAVK), Data as a Key in Auto.Var.Key (DKAVK), Key Variation with Random Number (KVRN) etc.
