Abstract: | Recent researches related to image processing have large variety of applications which newlineencompass image reconstructions, feature enrichment and visualization, image segmentation newlineand edges formation. The image edges formation and enhancements is an elementary process newlineof image processing which are implemented by analyzing occurrence and positions of pixels newlineintensity. The intensity of the pixel is a numerical value which decides image attributes i.e. newlinebrightness, sharpness, colors etc. To formation of enhanced edges the proposed method newlineprocess image attributes with the help of pixels intensity. A lot of image edge detection newlineenhancement methods are implemented yet, the proposed method study recent and early newlineresearches, find the gaps in the existing research and decides the area where improvements are newlinerequired. newlineThe key idea of the proposed research is to implement a simple and efficient method newlinefor detection of enhanced edges from the color space i.e. RGB, HSV and YUV. These color newlineimages are noise free, noisy, rainy, night vision, shaded and reflected. The edges are called newlineenhanced if these are incessant, true and similar to source image objects. To achieve the newlineprimary goal of the proposed research, a cellular automata based technology is used. The idea newlinebehind to select cellular automata technology (CAT) is their ability to process group of data newlineefficiently which are in the form of two dimensions. The CAT processes the current data and newlinegenerates a new data with the help of transition function or rule. The rule of CAT is decided newlineaccording to neighborhood of the pixels. newline |
