dc.description.abstractDisputes between foreign investors and host states can arise in various forms and various contexts. For the settlement of these disputes, almost all the contemporary investment treaties provide some common methods including negotiations, consultations, mediation, conciliation, and arbitration. The present study focuses on the relevance and usefulness of these various investor-state dispute settlement methods enshrined in the existing investment treaties of eight South Asian countries. newline
