Abstract: newline Kamala Das and Preeti Shenoy are prominent Anglo-Indian Women writers. They have written in newlinedifferent eras of time. Kamala Das has faced the of Pre-Independence era, torments of Freedom movements newlineand Post- Independence scenarios with matrilineal lineage. Shenoy on the other hand writes in current times newlineof twenty first century ever changing global economic and high-tech era of blooming technology. Although newlineboth have divergent thinking with versatile personalities trying to imbibe as much experiences as they can to newlineunderstand the position, self and communication related to women in their surroundings. Regional unity is newlinethesis analyses their works on personal confessional grounds thoroughly highlighting the autobiographical newlineelements present in their works. Women are cracking their hard nutshells of silence with revolting voices newlineagainst all social stigmas, which includes fighting for their right to equality. They also touch upon sisterhood newlinethrough their self identity.
