Abstract: In present time when more and more enterprises are shifting towards cloud newlinecomputing, the and Velocity) that are the basic characteristic of the newlinedata on the cloud are anticipated to cope up to the expectations. Although big data newlinecenters and latest technologies have handled huge volumes of data but still the newlineproblem of storing heterogeneous data on the cloud persists. Heterogeneous data newlineintegration is the demand of time in increasing implementations of cloud computing. Our newlinework proposes a model for integrating heterogeneous data on the cloud focusing on the newlinesecurity of data at rest. Data Integration here simply refers to converting the data in a newlineuniform format so that the identity of type of data is not known to the provider. The model newlinebasically comprises of 3 layers, The Client , Service and the Cloud layer. The core process in newlinethe research is based on conversion and securing the data on cloud. The service based newlinemodel implements all its tasks on the client layer through various defined services. newlineThe layers of the proposed model deal with aspects of data access newlineon cloud. The client layer provides interface to the client and works on basic request and newlineresponse parameters. The service inventory layer comprises of services newlineworking on integration and encryption of data and the cloud data layer holds the actual newlinedata in uniform format. The research work aims to provide a solution to the heterogeneous newlinedata integration problem on cloud and data security at rest. newline
