dc.description.abstract | The Small scale Industries around the world sailed through vigorous changes of its newlinestructure, efficiency, policy framework, etc. SSIs in India also passed through the various newlinephases of their structural changes and development. To adjust to the rapidly changing newlineeconomic phase, SSIs had to change themselves thoroughly. In 1947, during the period of newlinefreedom, the economy of India was in bad shape mainly due to severe challenges from newlinemultiple fronts like poor literacy, poverty, low income, poor industrialization and low newlineemployability. Since independence, India aimed to speed up the economic development of newlinethe national and the government had put genuine efforts for industrial growth. The main newlineobjective of the government was to promote the industrial sector and accelerate the economic newlinegrowth of India.
