Abstract: Evidence based medicine is the need of the modern era. Therefore, in both the fundamental and applied aspects of and#256;yurveda the revalidation and revitalization is essential, through research. The present study offers a fundamental study in the perspective of Shonita Dhatu. The role of Shonita in Prasar Awastha(spreading stage) from Shatkriyakaal,of Doshas has a hint that Shonita can control or even can boost the Samprapti/pathogenesis of any disease, Even if the disease is named to be sourced or not due to Shonita(Shonita Janya or non Shonita Janya). Thus striving to maintain the Shonita in healthy state can restrict and divert disease pathogenesis towards better prognosis. Thus on the grounds of fundamental research, more and more means could be found for the assessment of unhealthy state of Shonita and even its cure could be achieved with convenient resources. The resource is readily provided in the texts in the form of Charakokta Mahakashayas as the hidden potentials of it are readily allowed to be explored and retrieved for any new dimension. This study firstly offers study of abnormal state of and#346;oand#326;ita (and#346;oand#326;ita Duand#351;ti) and the second is competency of CMK to offer Drugs capable enough to cure the deformities in and#346;oand#326;ita through a designed methodology. newlineKey words- Shonita, Dhatu, Mahakashaya,Ayurveda newline
