Abstract: Worldwide breast cancer is a mostly diagnosed cancer in women and in the United States of America for year 2018, estimated new breast cancer cases (male and female) are 2,68,670 and death risk is for 41,400 and in India in 2012 breast cancer detected women cases were 1,44,937 and mortality cases were 70,218 (50% from diagnosed). In Pune city As per PBCR 2012-13 (Population Based Cancer Registry) breast cancer cases were 31.4% this number is very high than other registered cancer cases. Conventional cancer therapies are expensive, have drastic side effects on the body, do not support quality of life and are beyond the reach of the rural population in India. An integrated approach is required to control the progression of cancer, in which botanicals and minerals can be effectively utilized in combination with currently used anti-cancer agents or alone to establish safe and effective synergistic combination. newlineNatural products are generally defined as small chemical or bio-molecules secreted by microorganisms and plants. Our Indian traditional medicinal therapy primarily based on plants and certain minerals (bhasma) and from several medicinal therapies Ayurveda has a very long history of herbal drug applications in human health with producing less or without side effects. As per ICMR guidelines ayurvedic formulations which are prepared by the traditional methods they do not have to undergo tests for safety and efficacy if, they are used for diseases specified in the original texts and also in the United States of America, ayurvedic products are regulated as a dietary supplements. newlineOn the basis of literature survey and interviewing local healers we performed this study for evaluation of selected natural products (eight plants and three different bhasma) for their anti-breast cancer activities against hormone dependent (MCF-7) and independent (MD-MB-231) cell lines along with a normal HaCaT (skin keratinocyte) cell line. We utilized MTT assay for screening the cytotoxic properties of selected natural substances. From thi
