dc.description.abstract | Culture is the important phenomena in the human life. It is the way of life. newlineWhere there is the man, there is the culture. Therefore, in every society, we see the newlineculture, though having the differences in it. The language, clothes, living styles, newlinereligions, politics, conceptions of male and woman powers, education and so many newlinethings can be covered under the title of the culture. Culture can be defined as the sum newlinetotal of all that is reflected in the mode of life of people. newlineThe Indian mind has been shaped by remarkably diverse forces such as, the newlineancient Hindu tradition, myth, scripture; the impact of Islam and Christianity; and two newlinecenturies of British Colonial rule. The result is unique. Pluralism is a reality that newlineemerges from the very nature of India. With diversity emerging from the geography newlineof India and inscribed in the history of India, India is made for pluralism. Tharoor newlinetells The singularity about India is that we can speak about it in the plural. Tharoor newlineproves the point that the dynamics of Indian society are constantly changing and new newlineidentities are created through a healthy optimism. Ethnicity and language may newlinecomplicate the question of identity and the identity of an Indian may span from one newlineset of identities and cross into another.
