Abstract: | Political Socialization is an emerging concept in political science and it provides the key to the understanding of political constancy and political development. It is an ongoing process essential for any system of government because it is through this process that people s political views, thoughts, values, ideologies and feelings are formed. This process is especially important in countries that have adopted democratic regimes. If the people do not have political point of view or their own ideas and do not influence the government and the policies of the government accordingly, then Democracy can be threatened and therefore, the government accelerates the process of political socialization. Only if this process is dynamic the government can spread its ideas and gain public approval to self, so the process of political socialization has gained significant importance in modern times. newlineMichael Rush and Philip Althoff predicts that it is the process by which an individual becomes acquainted with the political system which further determines his perceptions of politics and his reactions to the political phenomena . Almond and Verba also reveals that Political Socialization is the process, by which the political culture is maintained, changed and carried forward. Easton and Dennis defined it as those developing processes through which person acquires political orientations and patterns of behavior . From this, it can be put forth that the process by which a person acquires political wisdom is determined as the process of political socialization. newlineThere are some agencies that can accelerate the process of political socialization (PPS) without which the process cannot be completed. The family is the primary component of these agencies and through this family an individual acquires the knowledge not only about political considerations but also about the various spheres of the society.
