dc.description.abstract | Success is the key for every manufacturing unit. In the present world energy is the one factor which play a vital role to decide the nation s position in the global standard. Electrical Power Industry which gives the added value of this success. The eand#64259;ciency of the Thermal and Nuclear Power stations determines the performance of the condenser. The failure of the condenser is because of the poor quality of the condenser tube material and other related factors in which the performance of the power sector presides. Achieving the delivery of the right material at the right place and with the desired quality plays a critical role on the industry success. The material selections for the condenser tube studies is in developing stage and always give better chances for researchers. Therefore, selecting the best suitable material for condenser tube is always welcomed by every energy industry. newlineIn this study there are several literatures reviews were studied and through which few of the selection process are applied and result obtained and also discussed various performance factors which are important for this study and conclusion arrived. The following methods adopted for this study is as follows: newlineA decision support system has been developed with a combination of AHP and QFD and also Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and BSC selects procedure to select the most appropriate material for the better condenser tube performance of a Thermal and nuclear power stations. newlineIn this study a management tool has been introduced as mentioned above has been applied and with the various material selecting procedures included and analysis of various factor aand#64256;ecting the eand#64259;ciency criteria in this management technique. The aim of this study is to select the most appropriate material for their better performance. newlineIn this case study, five diand#64256;erent heat exchanger tube materials are selected namely brass, aluminium, Cu-Ni alloy, Stainless steel and Titanium. There are twelve evaluation criteria has been applied to these materials and the analys | |
