Abstract

Cancer is a complex disease which often described as a group of different diseases. Among many diseases or disorders, cancers are one of the most prevailing and fastest-growing disorders that can make life miserable in most cases. Globally the newer cases of cancer are increasing despite the technological growth in the field of cancer. International agency for research on cancer (IARC) states that about 70% rise in newer cancer cases can be observed in the next two decades. Though conventional therapies such as surgery, radiotherapy, hormonal therapy, and chemotherapy promise significant patient survival, they all suffer from several limitations: non-specific cellular damage, lack of complete removal of tumors, non-specific drug distribution, resistance, serious adverse events, and so on. The oncology treatment remains the most significant revenue source for Pharmaceutical companies as the treatment accrues higher costs.
