Abstract: Water quality has become a major global concern due to ever newlineincreasing human development activities depletion of natural resources and newlinepollution of surface and groundwater The drastic environmental changes and newlinerapid industrialisation led to change of water quality Water consumption also newlinegrew rapidly due to expanding industrial production increasing population newlineand intensive agricultural production Hence there is a growing need to tackle newlinewater pollution problem During the past few years nanoparticles have been newlinegaining much attention for adsorption of pollutants due to their unique newlinephysico chemical properties Magnetic nanoparticles are especially found to newlinebe handy because of easy separation An inert support is required to enhance newlinethe efficiency of the Nanoparticles Among the various supports examined for newlineadsorption studies graphene appeared to be a suitable support newlineIn the present investigation magnetic Fe3O4 core shell nanorods newline MCSNs reduced graphene oxide supported nanocomposites RGO NC and newlinereduced graphene oxide supported Fe2O3 TiO2 nanocomposite RGO MFT newlinewere synthesized and characterized for their physico chemical properties newlineThese materials were attempted for the removal of As III As V and Hg II newlinefrom aqueous solution The adsorption experiments were carried out by batch newlinestudies newline newline
