dc.description.abstract | In this thesis work, to develop a new methodology for Carbon-Nitrogen and Carbon-Carbon bond forming reactions through the oxidative cyclization and borrowing hydrogen strategy. The first working chapter is NH2-MIL-125(Ti) MOF used as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of various benzimidazoles and benzothiazoles derivatives in good yields through an oxidative cyclization pathway. The reaction was initiated by adsorption of the substrate on the NH2-MIL-125(Ti) MOF surface through electron deficient Ti4+ sites.
