Abstract: Electrical energy is one of the crucial aspects that affect the advancement of newlinecivilization within the 21st century Of later there has been an extraordinary newlinearound the world commitment to make a clean and practical sources of power newlinegeneration It has been anticipated that by the year 2050 worldwide energy needs newlinewill be fulfilled by the renewable power sources Among these renewable energy newlinesources hydropower is accessible around the world with moderately cheaper rates newlineand well developed to meet the energy needs of the various communities newlineHowever hydro power operate through water turbines and their answering time newlinefor load alteration is much higher and hence it is difficult for hydro power to newlinemanage the ancillary services such as to provide the energy to consumers by newlineholding the system frequency to standard and acceptable value Load frequency newlinecontrol LFC play an important part to hold the system frequency to standard newlinevalue while managing the tie line power flow to the best scheduled value The newlineLFC of hydro power is a crucial area of the research and it can fulfill the need of newlinefuture communities in order to see their energy needs by pollution free source. newlineThe linear quadratic regulator LQR could be a solution for hydropower system newlineLFC considering that the structure of LQR need proper modification and it should newlinebe evaluated via intelligent hybrid bacteria foraging optimizing algorithm newlineHBFOA newlineThe new LQR will be able to manage the LFC goals for number of important newlineconditions and the outcomes of LQR for LFC are presented graphically and via newlinevarious results recorded in the form of tables Further the PID controllers are the newlinexvi newlinefirst choice of various power engineers and hence they also need to be checked newlineand assessed for hydro power LFC Moreover the gains of PID can be evaluated newlineby using the ordinary Z N Manual Tuning and by running the optimization newlineprocedure JAYA so that the PID are good enough for hydro power LFC It is newlinealso crucial to develop advance modes of PID i e 2DOF PID and to obtain all values of this mode via jaya
