Abstract: | Wireless communication is extensively affecting the human life and making it easier and newlinesmarter. In the current scenario of technology, the need of small size, economical, low newlineprofile and adequate antennas is increasing. Microstrip patch antenna is fulfilling all the newlineneeds in various fields such as aircraft, missile application, and medical purpose. Wireless newlineBody Centric Communication is nowadays most attractive field of research for many newlineapplications just as tagging, discovering, health care systems and telemetry using radio newlinefrequency. With the help of Microstrip Patch Antenna technology, Body Worn and newlineimplanted Antennas are designed so that it can be utilized in various applications. newlineBody centric wireless communication systems and applications are divided in three newlinefactors; In-body sensors and systems, On-body sensors and systems and Off-body sensors newlineand systems. Different bands are designated by Federal Communications Commission newline(FCC) for Wireless Body centric communication; Medical implant Communication newlineServices (MICS) band is lying from 402-405 MHz frequencies that is used for In Body newline(Implant devices) and On body Communication, Industrial Scientific and Medical Band is newlinelying 2.4-2.5 GHz and used for On body Communication (wearable antennas). Another newlinepopular band used for Off Body communication (wearable antennas) is Ultra Wide Band newline(UWB) designated by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) lying in 3.1 GHz to newline10.6 GHz. newline |
