Abstract: | The essentiality of the induction motor applications is felt strongly newlineWorldwide There is a growing demand for the applications of the induction newlinemotors in the fields of agriculture residential commercial and industrial and newlineother utility areas These motors are used in the above areas because of some newlineimportant advantages like simple design low cost easy maintenance and good newlinepower factor The application of induction motor devoid of speed controls is newlinenot possible V f speed control is one of such speed controls which facilitates newlinethe speed control easily So this control is largely preferred in the industry This newlinecontrol strategy consists of keeping a constant V f ratio of the induction motor newlinesupply source One of such controllers is the design of intelligent controllers newlinewhich has received considerable attention in recent years The control newlinetechniques based on neural networks fuzzy and genetic algorithms are among newlinethem Emotional learning belonging to the family of intelligent algorithms is a newlinepsychologically motivated one Researchers developed a new inspired newlinecomputational model of the amygdala and orbito frontal cortex in the limbic newlinesystem of the mammalian brain Brain Emotional Learning Based Intelligent newlineController BELBIC has been suggested based on the above computational newlineModel There are two approaches for applying the brain emotional learning newlinemodel into control systems, namely direct and indirect approaches newline |
