Chaurasia newline Research Scholar Advisor newline newlineABSTRACT newlineAn experiment was carried out with an objective of studying the Effect of hormonal seed treatment on growth, seed yield, seed quality, seed health status and changes in enzyme activity after accelerated ageing in Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) at Field Experimentation Center, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Seed Testing Laboratory and Biochemistry research laboratory, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Science, Prayagraj during rabi 2017-2020. Theexperiment was carried out with a Chickpeavariety (Pusa-362) in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications in field conditions and CRD (Complete Randomized Design) in lab conditions. The evaluation was done on all growth and yield, vigor and enzymatic traits. Among the alltreatments T13(Gibberellic acid +RH (90%) +Temp. (350C) +Days (2)(39.03 days) was earlier in days to 50% flowering. Treatment T13(Gibberellic acid +RH (90%) +Temp. (350C) +Days 2) (62.95 cm) exhibitedmaximum plant height, Treatment T13[Gibberellic acid +RH (90%) +Temp. (350C) +Days (2)] (113.00 days) exhibited short days to maturity (146.00),Maximum number of branches (6.67) was recorded in Treatment T13(Gibberellic acid +RH (90%) +Temp. (350C) +Days 2)Treatment T13(Gibberellic acid +RH (90%) +Temp. (350C) +Days 2)(66.50) produced maximum pods per plant, Treatment T13(Gibberellic acid +RH (90%) +Temp. (350C) +Days 2) exhibited 100 seed weight(29.88 g), Treatment T13(Gibberellic acid +RH (90%) +Temp. (350C) +Days 2) exhibited maximum number of seeds per plant (82.97), Treatment T13(Gibberellic acid +RH (90%) +Temp. (350C) +Days
