Abstract: The research focuses around the concept of teaching learning experiences. Both the teachers and learners are in constant efforts to enhance this experience. Learners study the concepts and expect their cognitive learning to enhance their knowledge. Teachers undertake the teaching learning process to make this experience better for the learners. With this notion the Decision Support System prototype for suggestion of appropriate pedagogies to enhance the teaching learning experiences of learners and measure the effectiveness is proposed. newlineThe domain of information systems have been researched since years now. There are various forms of information systems, however, Decision Support System is explored the most. Decision Support Systems are of characteristics that generate output to enhance the decision making process undertaken by the decision makers. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of this thesis outlines the historical, theoretical and foundational concepts of Decision Support Systems. The research explores the justification of implementing Decision Support Systems for our research concern. newlineThe prototype adopts the concepts from three domains of teaching learning process, namely, learning objectives, learning preferences of the learners and the pedagogies. The learning objectives are interpreted in context to the Bloom s Taxonomy of Learning Objectives. The learning preferences of the learners are interpreted in context of the VARK inventory of Learning Preferences. The pedagogies are reviewed with context of integrating them in the prototype. Chapter 3 outlines the detailed analysis for these three domains of teaching learning process and attempt to establish a co-relation amongst them in context of our research concern.Any research is undertaken through a sequence of planned and designed methodology. Chapter 5 elaborates the entire research in terms of research methods adopted. The chapter outlines the research journey in form of inter connected Phases.
