Abstract: Today, it is globally accepted that both in knowledge-based economy and newlinedeveloping nations investing in a strong public vocational education and newlinetraining is very important. With rapid technological and scientific newlinedevelopment characterized by globalization and IT revolution, it is felt that newlineeducational process in all countries should be driven by technical and newlinevocational education. It is globally accepted that socio-economic development newlinedepends on the strength of vocational education and training as it provides newlineaccess to skills and thereby provides entry routes into the talent market. newlineDue to its demographic advantage India is being considered as global talent newlinehub. To leverage this advantage various initiatives are being taken by both newlinecentral and state governments. One such initiative is Skill India launched in newline2015. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), through its newlinenetworked training partners across the nation, is engaged in skills development newlineof youths in India. The role of these skills development institutes in the entire newlineskilling ecosystem has become very critical. newlineIn this present study research scholar investigated perception of alumni of skill newlinedevelopment institutes about service quality delivered, skills acquired and newlineloyalty. Also, in this study it was explored whether soft skills, technical skills newlineand potential job and earnings has any mediation effect on the relationship newlinebetween service quality and students loyalty in vocational education and newlinetraining. newlineThe outcome from this study will provide robust and reliable evidence of newlinestudents perception and assessment of skilling sector. The findings of this newlinestudy will be also help policy makers in planning future skilling programs. newline
